South Korea Welcomes North's Removal From Terror List (Update1)

``We welcome this development,'' Kim Sook, South Korea's chief nuclear negotiator,
told reporters today in Seoul.
``As an ally of Japan, we understand their concern,'' Kim said.
``But we could not easily accept it if the interests of one nation
were to hinder denuclearization, the ultimate goal of the six-party talks.''
