I just tried out the チャージマン stage on G trap last night. And I was very surprised/impressed that there was a diagonal scroll at one point during the stage.
I have been recently working on doing 8-way scrolling for my ロックマン3 hack, in the style of スーパーマリオブラザーズ3. It works a little bit but not so well really just yet.
