‘King Kazu’ becomes J-League's oldest scorer
TOKYO- Former Japan international forward Kazuyoshi Miura, known as "King Kazu,"
has become the oldest goalscorer in the history of the J-League at the grand old
age of 41 years, seven months and 29 days.
The veteran player scored an equaliser for second-division outfit FC Yokohama
on Saturday to take the record from former Japan coach Zico, who was a mere 41 years,
three months and 12 days old when he last found the net in the J-League.
