LDP's Ishiba likens civic group rallies to terrorism
The second-in-command of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party has branded rallies by civic groups and others against a controversial bill to toughen
penalties for leakers of state secrets as tantamount to "acts of terrorism."
"The tactics of merely screaming is in essence little different from acts of terrorism," LDP Secretary General Shigeru Ishiba said on his blog on Friday.
