What does the Japanese 'swastika' symbol mean?
I heard it is different to the German Nazi one.
Additional Details
I saw it on some signs and it is featured in a Japanese Rock songs.
The band has it called 'MANJI' and I saw it outside a Koban (Police Station).
I want to get it as a TATTOO but I dont want people to think Im a Nazi (I have a Yin Yang sign) and want another sign for balance and for temple (my body is my temple)

Is a symbol in Hindu, and the flag from the kuna people in panama
It was used in many indo-european civilasations such as Indo-Aryans, Persians, Hittites, Slavs, Celts and Greeks
