私はこう送ったので、もし送るなら若干文面を変更してください。
To whom it may concern,
Recently, I have learned that Mainichi Daily News, one of the largest newspaper companies in Japan,
has reported in its English site that some Japanese do "hunt for children... as they are armed with a rifle
and permitted to track down a youth let loose in the jungle" in Ecuador.
I consider the matter seriously violating human rights of those poor, pitiful children of Ecuador.
The article also said that in Belarus, "slave" auctions are held every month.
The story sounds untrue, but Mainichi Newspaper is regarded as a trusted company and reliable information resource.
The article was deleted, however, because of other sexually "defaming Japan" contents.
But the company did not say those articles were false.
In addition, I do not consider this article sexually inappropriate.
This is indeed serious violation of human rights, and certainly a case of murder.
If the article is true, I demand the UNICEF to act quickly to help those Ecuadorians as soon as possible from further "hunting."
If the article was false and the company did not correct it because of some reasons (such as maintaining their social trust, I guess)
I'd like you to request Mainichi Newspaper to correct the article soon,
in order to restore the honor of those "falsely defamed" Ecuadorian children.
The article may cause serious misunderstandings as to the children's situation in Ecuador, I am afraid.
Since my personal contact to Mainichi Newspaper was ignored, I'd like you, the organization with official authority,
to strongly criticize the company for having spread false information regarding foreign children and country itself.
Thank you.
