この書き方から判断すると、
英語基本動詞辞典は、
根源的用法しか法助動詞として認めていない、ということか？
認識的用法は法助動詞ではない、と。
認識的用法はモダリティに含まれるので、
この分類の仕方は主流ではないね。
Quirk et al. も所謂「単純未来」の will を法助動詞として扱っているし、
尊師さまの一連のツイートは偏った考え方に基づくものだな。

The modal verb will (or the contracted form 'll) is used with future meaning
with subjects of all three persons.
