A. "Neither can I."

B. "I can't either."

Could you tell me the difference in nuance between A and B?

Can you speak English?

I heard that the way you talk to people like that is somewhat impolite. Native speakers say that a better way is to ask, "Do you speak English?"

Some Japanese bloggers said so, but native English speakers interpret it another way.
Many of them seem to think they are the same though.

You are the same age as Rie Miyazawa.
I guess you were a fan of her.
You may have been shocked to see the engagement of her and Takanohana.

When a native speaker asked me, "Can you speak English?" I thought it was impolite.

The key point is how Japanese people perceive it, not native speakers.

After the question, I shared with the native speaker what I was thinking.

Fortunately, he understood my perspective.

Yes!!
I was astonished that a beautiful lady like her got engaged with such a fat man.
And I was astonished by her nude photo book too.

In those days Rie, Hikaru and Eriko were my favorites!!

In 1990s,
tons of "young soul" must have been made explode by those 3 in Japan, I'm sure.
They were given to the mankind by the God as hope to live our lives.

What is the difference in charm point between Rire Miyazawa and Hikaru Misida?

It's a difficult question for me.
The reason why this question is difficult is
that I was watching only their bodies and didn't know their personalities well.
My 1st ”explosion” except during dreaming was
when I imagined the situation that Hikaru was completely under my control.
I was very surprised.
But at the same time I got very proud of the fact
that she indirectly opened the door to the biological maturity for me.

By the way, I loved Eriko best among the 3.
Of course I knew only her appearance
and her songs and other activities as an idol were out of my interest.
Swim events on TV by them
were my most favorite memories in my school days.

I know that both Eriko and Hikaru were returnees. Eriko returned from Germany, and Hikaru from Los Angeles. Additionally, Yu Hayami, several years older than them, was also a returnee from Hawaii. Why do you think there were so many idols who used to be returnees?

I don't know if there is some kind of relationship
between the career choice to be an idol and the experience living abroad.
I can say in confidence that
those you mentioned are undoubtedly blessed with pretty faces and attractive bodies.
These are the most important elements for idols and of course for fans like us.
In 1990s, the popularity of Sophia University might depend on their existence,
Just like Aoyama Univ became popular because of Naomi Kawashima.

I wish I became a vigorous high school boy again
and watching them in their high teens over and over again
under the present IT environment with high resolution movies.
It will be a moment filled with unimaginable excitement and happiness.
I envy school boys today who are experiencing my dream everyday.

I feel more comfortable writing here than on social media!
I presume the company run away with paid membership fee
by the end of this year.
See you on X... if this bbs disappear.
