場違いの書き込みでしょうが、Encycropedia Britannca Version 15 DVD-ROM（以下E.B.と表記）を
Windows11 でも使う手段がわかりましたので報告します。（公式サポートは、Windows8.1まで）
1.Stop and inactive Windows 11 PC's Java Runtime Enbironment
(JRE Version 1.8.0 or more newer)
2.Install TrueTypeFonts from in the E.B.'s DVD to Windows Fonts Directry
3.Stop Windows Font Cache Service temporarily
4.Clear Windows 11's Internal FontCache
5.Run E.B.'s Installer (Use Internal JRE E.B.'s DVD Version 1.5.0)
6.You must look Installer Finished as Normally
7.Restart Windows Font Cache Service
8.Restart PC's Java Runtime Enbironment
9.Check E.B.'s Programme as normally run and finish on Windows 11
細かいオペレーションについては、各々Web検索すると出てきます。（全部英語です）
もちろん、E.B.のDVD-ROM の中身改変（クラックやパッチ）などはまったく必要ありません。
これで手元のE.B.が「宝の持ち腐れ」とならずに済みましたので、ちょっと嬉しかったです。
