ちょっと質問させて下さい。
自分は「気になる英文を張り付け、気ままに語る」スレのスレ立て主です。
英検1級の最近の事情に詳しくないので確認したい。
上のスレで直近に掲げた、以下の文章の難易度はどんな具合でしょう。

one where the U.S. keeps using war, militarism and coercive financial sanctions to
try to prolong its post-Cold War unipolar moment into our new century.

英検1級に合格するような人にとってこの文章で難しいのはせいぜい encompass、coercive と
いう単語と non-aligned movements という時事用語ぐらい、そして、文法・構文的には難しい
ところはないと思っています。
この自分の推測は正しいでしょうか。 (´·ω·`)
