関係副詞reason that SV:なぜSVなのかのという理由(≠SVという理由)
という認識です
そして今回は関係副詞のため問題ないかと
何回も質問コメントすみません
もう一つ知りたいことがあります
間接話法でtell that sv but that sv
のようにthatが分かれ、それがbutで並列されるような場合はふつうに存在するのでしょうか
もし例があれば教えていただきたいです。(自分だと見つけられなかった)
イソップ物語のJBR Collectionバージョンを読んでいて次の英文に出会い、最後のパラグラフにあるangrily told以降でthat sv but that svなのかなと思ったのですが
（次のように逆接も成り立っているので
was endow(与えれている)→as a punishment...should[←shall] be shortened(罰として短くされることとなろう) ）
ただこの形は見たことがなく、しかも; butだし、but thatという塊のフレーズもあるようなのであまり確信を持てません。
