ともかく、三種類とも大いに使われている。
which なのは、person じゃなくて kind にかかっているからだ。who なのは、
kind ではなくて person にかかっていると解釈してしまう人たちが流行らせたんだろうよ。
you think だけではダメで、you think I am でないといけない。なぜか？
(1) You think I am this kind of person. (君は、俺がこんな感じの人間だと思っている)
上の文章は、これで正しい。もしも
(2) (*) You think this kind of person. となると、間違い。
だからこそ、this kind of person を前に持ってきて
this kind of person you think となると間違いになるのだ。
(1) が正しいから、this kind of person を前に持ってくる。そのときに、
this を the に変えてみる。
(3) the kind of person you think I am
そして (3) の前に I'm not をつけると、
(4) I'm not the kind of person you think I am.
になるけど、これは元の文と同じになる。
