『英文解体新書』の紹介ついでに全くの余談だけど、この本にも「クジラ」が出てくるね！
p.36 に
>Just because it's online doesn't necessarily mean that the information is useful
>any more than a book being in a library means that that reference is needed
>or necessary to one's search for information.
という感じで（長い文なのでuseful のあととneeded のあとに改行入れて切ってる）。
大意は自分で調べてちょうだい。
この文には別の構文も混じっていて、『ドラゴン・イングリッシュ』の63番
>Just because young people today read less than they used to,
>it doesn't always follow that they are less eager to learn.
>「本を読む量が減ったからといって、
>今の若者の知的欲求が少なくなったということにはならない。」
に出てくる“Just because ～, it doesn't follow that ...”というものだ。
これは“Just because ～, this doesn't mean that ...”と書いてもいいらしい。
また、doesn't always はdoesn't necessarily とも表現できる、と。
これが混じって、ちょっと複雑になってる。
