[Q] What would change if the security bills were passed?
[A] The key is that the bills tolerate in a limited manner the exercise
of Japan's collective self-defense right.
If a close ally were attacked, the Government would judge whether
the situation "threatens Japan's survival." This would be a case where
Japan's survival and/or its people's rights were endangered.
If any such situation occurred, the Self-Defense Forces would be
able to fight together with the forces of other nations.
