中学文法の基礎と分詞構文、過去完了、仮定法の基礎をある程度学んだ者（>>166参照）。
語彙は使用頻度の高い上位２０００語程度あればいい。
分からない単語は辞書を引いていい。
注意すべき点は主人公が最初の頃に書く英語のスペルはいい加減だから発音から意味を
推測しなければならないこと。例えば次の文章の shud は should だし rite は write。
これが大体推測できればＯＫ．
