のSumerの項に
「In the Babylonian context, the edges of the pentagram were probably orientations: forward, backward, left, right,
and "above". These directions also had an astrological meaning, representing the five planets Jupiter, Mercury,
Mars, Saturn, and Venus as the "Queen of Heaven" (Ishtar) above.」
とあるんで、元々は単に星が光輝く様をデザイン化したわけではなく、5つの三角が
5つの方角を示しているということらしい。
ペンタグラム自体の最初の使用は、そこに書いてあるように、BC3000年。
