ある著作家にその人の書いた本にサインを入れて（送ってほしい）と頼みました。
下記の文が返事なのですが３行目はサインをするためには開封しなければならないといっているのですか？
またなんと応えるのがふさわしいでしょうか。

I signed the ACS pub introduction but the text is multi-author.
Please let me know with any initial order what you want signed so I don 't have to open and repack them.
