オズは子供文学だけれども、アリスあたりになると、そうは割り切れないところがある。
英文学史にちゃんと載っていて、英語初心者でも何とか読めるっていう意味では、
驚異的な作品だ。
白昼夢みたいなのを、ここまで言語化できたという意味でも極めて希だ。
ちなみに、ロリコン文学みたいに思われているけど、
アリスは信念を持った大人のイギリス人を小さくしたみたいなところがあって、
感傷よりも冒険心が旺盛、むしろ可愛げがないくらいだ。
その意味では、日本人の好きなロリコンキャラとは一線を画している。
