決まっているみたいで言い換えると遊びが多い。

参考になるかわからないけど、
境界線位置の不具合がなかったWin7x64から、Win10x64へ
Portable版をコピーしてみたら境界線の不具合が出た。
コピー元PC Win7x64(シングルディスプレイ)
→コピー先PC Win10x64(デュアルディスプレイ)
起動・終了する度に境界線が少しづつ左へ移動してなんとも不便。
Window化、最大化、フルスクリーンで挙動が違い、最大化状態のみで発症していた。
Window化の全体横サイズと最大化時の境界位置に相関関係があるらしい。
iniファイル中の"TreePanelWidth=xx"が幅サイズだが、アプリ全体の横サイズに対しての％表記になっており、これがドット単位の位置合わせが効かない原因だろう。
また、Aeroスナップでは左右半分にして終了時、次の起動でウインドウ状態が保持できていなかった。
消極的対策として、Window化状態で端をドラッグして画面一杯にすることで対応してみた。
すると、面白いことにこの状態から最大化してみると不具合は出なかった。
これは自分のPC環境なので他のPCではどうかわからないけどね。

I think I have found the problem.
Closing the program minimized in SysTray causes the problem.
Please make the test:
- make FC window visible
- set tree pane as you want
- right click on FC icon in SysTray
- select 'Close'
- start FC again
The splitter position of the tree pane is correctly now.
Can you confirm it?
指示通りの操作を行ったところ，境界線の位置が保存されることを確認できましたので，その旨，作者にメールしました。すると，
for the next release I have fixed it.
Now as workaround you can deactivate the option "Close as minimize".
と返信が来ました。要はFCを常駐化させる場合，現在の仕様では「×」でタスクトレイに入れると問題が発生し，「＿」で最小化すると問題がないようです。

760（64bit）にしてから起動時に「Access violation at address」というエラーがたまに出るようになった
まあ表示が出るだけで特に問題はないのだが、作者にエラーレポートメールしたら、すぐ返事が来て760のバグだそうだ

ありがとうございます。それも試していたのですが、ファイル数が多くなると、どうしても、一覧表示（縦、横にも表示）したくなりまして。
FVでは、いつもこの表示をしており便利だったもので。

HDDを初期化し，Windows7を再セットアップしました。すると，
Microsoft Windows 7 - ファイルの移動先に同名のファイルがある場合の操作

のメッセージが出なくなりました。
上記のサイトの例を用いると，「てすと.txt」が２つのフォルダに存在し，一方のフォルダにある「てすと.txt」を別のフォルダにコピーする際，何のメッセージもなく，コピー先のフォルダに「てすと - コピー.txt」が作成されるようになりました。
置換する，コピーしない，コピーして一方をリネームするのメッセージが出るように環境を戻したいです。
よろしくお願いいたします。

FileVisorから移行中です。
フィルタを実行するときにFVでは選択ファイルの拡張子が自動的に設定されます。
FCでは残念ながら空白のため、入力またはリスト選択が必要のため少し不便です。

今回のアップデートはワクワクしない内容だった。
FVからの移転組なので、今後入れてもらえるとありがたい機能 （他の人のもいくつか入れてある）
・ファイル複数選択 -> 移動ダイアログ -> ABCと入力 -> ABCフォルダが作成されてファイルがすべて移動
を、単画面時でも動くようにしてほしい。これがないと、間違えてファイルを上書きで消してしまうことがある。
・ファイル選択時（反転）した状態で、ファイル名の上からじゃなくても反転エリアからならD&Dできるように。
・ドロップ時に、ドラッグを開始した領域の上だったらキャンセル
・ドロップでコピー、＋SHIFTで移動
・ファイル一覧でも「容量」「日時」「属性」を表示できるように
・拡張子の右寄せ （設定項目の中にそれらしいのがあったが、うまく動かない。なんで？）
バグ
・フィルタ設定で日本語が効かない （上で報告があったファイル検索の方は大丈夫のようだ）
・レイアウト設定が、なぜか初期化されることがある。

763に明確なバグがあり，ダウングレードした。
お気に入りツールバーにたくさんアプリケーションを登録してあるが，
(1) 起動時，まれに一部のアプリケーションのアイコンが表示されない。
(2) まれに，アプリケーションのアイコンがずれて表示される。
どちらも再起動で直るときと直らないときがある。
土日でもメールを書くか。

上に上がってた日本語ファイルの検索についてなんだけど、
状況がつかめてきた
＊を補完する設定にしておき、
日本語.txtを検索する状況を作る。
「日本」だけだと検索OK
「日本語」で検索するとNG
特定のコードが入っているとダメなのかも。
他の人でも発現するかな？

標準のエクスプローラとxplorer2は置き換えできると思う。
自分は使ったことないけどね。

xplorer2のfree版は機能が少なくて使えない、使いにくいと思う。
そうなると上位のproかultimate版だけど、結構高い上1年間しかversion up出来ない。
lifetimeでのversion upの権利も売っているけどこれも高い。
ただ、xplorer2はFCに比べて軽いよ。

詳細表示でファイルを複数選択時の2点質問があります
1) 先頭の列の前のスペースを増やすことはできますか？
具体的にはアイコン前のスペースがエクスプローラと違い全くないため、マウスでの複数選択ができない状況です
2) 動画を複数選択した場合、エクスプローラのように、ステータスバーに総再生時間の表示はできませんか？
[mp3playtime]という項目はあるのものの、音楽ファイルでも機能しせん

「エクスプローラー」はIEと抱き合わせ企画で派生したのか知らんが
MSの趣味の悪いネーミングで後世他社にも悪影響を残した気がする。
少なくとも総合スレタイにエクスプローラーは特定会社の印象が強すぎてだめだ

はい、mp3ファイルになります。
理想としては、対象のファイルをダブルクリックした際にFreeCommander内のクイックビューワーで再生させたいと考えております。
ツール→設定→プログラム(関連付け)→規定のアクション で、
フィルターを「*.mp3」としてみたのですが、その後のプログラムでFreeCommander内のクイックビューワーを動作させる方法が分かりませんでした。
また、この方法で合ってるかも自信がなくご質問させていただきました。
お力添えいただけれると嬉しいです。

ここ三年くらいこれをメインに使ってるんだけど、Win10になったあたりからファイルリストのスクロールが重すぎる ＠複数の機種で確認
FreeCommanderは機能は満点でステキなんだが、同じ代理配布元(?)の PortableApps に入っていた Q-Dir とか使ってよそ様は軽いなクソって思ってしまった

乗り換え先としてfree commanderを試用してるけどなんだろうこれ？
どこが機能満点なのかさっぱり分からない。まだfilevisor6のほうがよくない？

ただ、前者のソフトには無い便利な機能もあるし、なによりバグ対応や機能追加が現在進行形なので、

X-FinderやTablacusはツリーのフォルダを削除したときバグるのが嫌で
As/Rは画面を占める無駄領域が多すぎてイライラする
詳細表示がデフォの俺としては2画面型固定は使いたくない
そんな俺がやっと辿り着いた理想のファイル管理ソフトだ
痒い所に手が届くカスタマイズ性にはほぼ満足なんだが、undoがないのだけが実に惜しいな
仕方ないからファイル操作間違えたときはルートウィンドウにフォーカスしてCtrl-zしてるけど

空白部分で右クリックするとフォルダ作成や貼り付け、プロパティなど選べるメニューが出てたんですが
5kplayerをアンインストール後にエラー（can not create popup menu for new shell items）が出るようになりました
エラー後に出るメニューで貼り付けやプロパティは選べるんですが新規の項目が空になっててフォルダが作れません
ちなみにファイルやフォルダの上で右クリックをした場合はちゃんと対応した右クリックメニューが出てます
標準のエクスプローラーで同じことを試したところフォルダー作成など問題なくできました
アーカイブから新規にFCを解凍して実行しても同様の症状が出ています
FreecommanderXE 64bit donor_portable740です
レジストリは使用しないソフトだと思うので5kplayerのアンストでFCの設定が変わってしまったのでしょうか？
どなたか知恵をお貸しください

770 32bitから790に上書きインストールしたところ起動時、下記ダイアログがでるようになりました。
Access violation at address 00FEFF55 in module 'FreeCommander.exe'. Read of address 00000018
ダイアログのOKボタン押下で正常に動作し、設定も引き継がれています。
