Nintendo’s previous console, Wii, managed to sell a very healthy 2.07 Million units in its first four weeks on sale,
making Wii U almost as popular as the motion sensing phenomenon.
The high demand for Wii U has taken its toll on stock levels,
especially in North America, but the company are handling it much better than the Wii’s launch,
which was out of stock for weeks and months on end.
