アテネ市内で抗議行動の暴徒が建物に放火

Riots engulfed central Athens and at least 10 buildings went up in flames in mass protests late Sunday as lawmakers
prepared for a historic parliamentary vote on harsh austerity measures demanded to keep the country solvent and within
the eurozone.
TV footage showed a three-story corner building completely consumed by flames with riot officers looking on from the
street, and firefighters trying to douse the blaze. A closed cinema, a bank, a mobile phone dealership, a glassware
store and a cafeteria were among the burning buildings, the fire department said. There were no report of people trapped
inside

TVで報道された画面では3階建ての建物が完全に炎に巻かれている。閉鎖中の映画館、銀行、携帯電話ショップ、ガラス器店、
カフェテリアなどが放火されたビルに入居していた。人的被害は報告されていない。
