虐待や貧困などで児童養護施設や里親家庭で暮らす若者の自立支援について厚生労働省が３日、原則１８歳（最長２２歳）の年齢制限を撤廃するとしたことに、県内の施設出身者は「これからは安心して自立の準備ができる」と話す。施設や里親を離れた途端、困窮や孤立に陥るケースは「１８歳の壁」とも言われる。

What impression would you have if you were suddenly told by a Pakistani to answer to what country Kashmir belongs? You would, I'm sure, be so upset that you would regard him as a man difficult to get along with.
I am an American, but a similar situation I've encountered (more than once or twice) when communicating with Japanese people on the internet. "To which country Takeshima belongs, to Japan or to Korea? Answer now!" all of a sudden, they said (or almost shouted) to me.
I used to believe that the web community was such a place where more or less crazy people were likely to gather and they are far from average Japanese. However, I had to discard the belief when I visited Japan a year ago and was asked the very same question by a passer-by.
I guess, they hoped to hear opinions by the third party about issues in which Japan had interests, but they had better notice that such behaviours just degrade the prestige of their beloved fatherland.
