Sorry, but it is fairly natural that the waiters in a restaurant should be disdained or insulted by customers, because they couldn't choose another job due to their low-leveled education.
Highly educated people are often bowed down to by their customers, which is quite contrary to those with low education such as waiters and sales clerks.
If they had studied harder in their teenhood, they could get a job, like me, of tutoring the students who prepare for the university entrance exam, and be called "Sensei".
