Coronavirus kills 683 people in Italy in one day

Italy's daily new deaths due to coronavirus decreased once again on Wednesday as the authorities reported 683 fatalities in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday, the reported figure was 742.
In total, 7,503 people have died due to the disease, more than twice the number compared with Spain, the second country in the world by death toll.
Since yesterday's update, 5,210 new cases were confirmed, raising the total to 74,386 and racing to surpass China's figure of 81,218.
