I personally categorise some words as "over 10000". It means that I memorized those words after my vocabulary exceeded 10000.
Although I still read an English newspaper for 1 hour every day, I find those "over 10000" only once or twice a year. So, it is fairly difficult for me to keep those memorized.
1万語超えの単語って、毎日新聞を読んでても年に1回か2回くらいしか出てこないんで、キープが大変でね。まあまじめな人は15000くらいキープするのかもしれないけど。
