Foundations and Perspectives of Anabelian Geometry,
RIMS workshop, May 18-22 2020

This workshop is one of four workshops of special RIMS year "Expanding Horizons of Inter-universal Teichmuller Theory". The workshop will review fundamental developments in several branches of anabelian geometry, as well as report on recent developments.
Anabelian geometry, together with higher class field theory and the Langlands correspondences, is one of three fundamental generalisations of class field theory.
