以下ザクザク自分ならこうするという風に変えます。
In my opinion, it is better for students to study individually.
That way, they can concentrate better on their study.
For instance, if you study in group, you are prone to chat with your friends about things like the World Cup. If you study on your own however, you will be able to keep studying without any interruption. And, you can study whenever you like.
If you study in group, you need to arrange the schdule with your friends, and you will have less time to study.
That's why I think studying individually is better than studying in group.
