I'm curious, how widespread is the belief that there was no massacre in Nanking?
I don't mean to be controversial, but is it a common view among Japanese that it was a battle, rather than a massacre?
I would like to learn more about it from a Japanese perspective, rather than out of a Canadian textbook or off of the internet.
