教科書POWER ONⅡです。
新しい生態系が現れた。などのくだりはわかったのですがそこから260の種子や300マイルの数字らへんをどう訳していいかわかりません。
あってるかも含めて訳お願いします。

This,in turn,has made it easier for many other plants and trees to grow there.
A whole new ecosystem has emerged.
Biologists have found some 260 seeds there with them,some even from the Amazon 300 miles away.
With all there new plant species have come deer and anteaters to make their home there.
The local people are excited about what they have discovered in the forests:many medicinal plants that had been considered lost.
