Many girls all over the world today see Korean guys as romantic, manly, smart, and sexy.
Sure, that's all perfectly correct.
Korean guys treat girls gently and nicely, meaning they are romantic.
Korean guys go through a hard-studying experience, meaning they are quite smart.
Korean guys train themselves both mentally and phisically, meaning they are manly and sexy.
Those elements of Korean guys are appealing to girls all around the world.
In addition, Korean guys are enjoying their popularity thanks to Korean Wave.
Korean Wave gives girls all over the world a chance to see Korean guys on TV and the Internet.
Those girls started to worship Korean guys since the Wave caught attention from the world media.
Now quite a number of girls are dreaming of finding a Korean guy as their boyfriend/husband.
We have to admit that Korean guys are most competitive under the current circumstance everywhere in this world.
We should be proud of it!! :)

You loved my statement that much? :)
Yeah, Korean guys are surely popular among girls all over the world.
According to the Korean paper, there's a hollywood celebrity who's deeply in love with
a Korean guy named Rain. And here's the original article.

URLリンク(www.thesun.co.uk)

>When asked who she'd like to go out with next,
>Megan replied: "Oh I don't know. There is this Korean JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE
>named RAIN and I'm really on his situation now. I'm trying to fix this up.
>I'm working hard."

She meant to say she loved Rain, also knownw as the world star Rain.
She mentioned/implied she loved him 3 times in public! How deep her love is!
Korean guys are amazingly popular among girls all over the world, especially
among American/Canadian/English girls, even with Hollywood celebs. This gorgeous
woman represents all of those girls who are mesmerised with Korean guys!
I'm proud of it! :)

What, do you think Germans are too stupid to use the internet or something?

Just kidding. 2ch doesn't seem to do any kind of blocking on European IPs, and
I've learned most of the Kanji in 2ch's interface some time ago, so there.

Anyway, someone in the other thread asked if it's true that Germans actually
tend to be pretty bad at English compared to other Europeans, and why
it is this way.
I'd say it's half-true, Germans tend to be better at English than for example
Poles, Spaniards and Frenchmen, but not as good as people from Holland or
Finland (even though Finnish has just as little in common with English as Japanese).
I think the main reason is that the TV stations in those countries don't dub their movies,
they just slap subtitles on them. When you turn on the TV in Germany, you hear nothing
but German on every channel, except for CNN and a few Turkish and Polish channels that foreigners watch.
In Holland, people aren't any more in love with American TV shows and so on than we are, but
they watch them in English and slowly start ignoring the subtitles more and more as they get better at English.

That said, there really are very few people here who are actually fluent in English. Save for native speakers
(we have quite a few immigrants from Nigeria etc. who tend to speak English at home), I was usually
the only one of the roughly 30 people in every English class I have ever been part of who could
speak the language fluently.
It's true that we have a head start compared to Japanese people who start learning English,
at least as far as reading comprehension goes. In terms of self-study time, I'd say we're around 3 months
ahead of you when we start (comparable to perhaps 3 or 4 years of taking language classes in school).

Yes, the number of people who are interested in Korean guys has been increasing all over the world.
Why? why Korean? The answer is; Korean guys are hot, manly, sexy, smart, gentle, romantic, and everything.
If you are a girl, then you will find this type of guy very attractive and want to have a date with him.
That's one of the rules that apply to all girls in this world. They are popular because they are attractive.
It's quite simple, don't you think? :)

German?

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mention German girls are also big fans of Korean guys.
German girls are likely to be interested in Korean guys if they meet any, but
if you compare such as American girls with German girls, I think American girls
will win. But don't get me wrong. I'm not saying this because I don't like German girls,
it's more like their problem here. Of course, Korean guys are also popular there, but
German girls need to get more enthusiastic about Korean guys like Canadian/American/English girls do on the Internet.
So they need to write a lot about Korean guys in English! Their voice hasn't been reached to Korean guys yet.
If they do, I'm sure Korean guys would think highly of German girls. So let's wait for them to wake up.
Korean Wave is sweeping the world now and Germany is no exception. :)

thanks to Korean Wave, so just wait. It's already influenced, quort,"Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, led by Hungary[11] and Norway

This Korea spammer is just jealous of Japanese/American/German/British/Tiwanese/(did we have any French?) posters here because we mesmerise each other in the thread but he can't get in the circle and thus feel rejected.
That's exactly why he's desperately trying to get attention from us.

So, why don't we talk a little about the media hype "Korean Wave" just for him?

who claim they are big fans of Korean guys. He seems to suffer from cognitive decline. Just because you are out of the loop
doesn't mean you are quilified to negate the effectiveness of Korean Wave. Korean Wave is really influential to girls all around

The news says that the Toppoki festival took place in L.A, and a large number of
American people enjoyed the Korean cuisine a lot. This is also Korean Wave. American
people don't live a single day without Korean high tech products....is a well known fact,
and the day will come soon when American people literally can't live a day without Korean cuisines.
It's a good thing, isn't it? American people will be taught they should lead healthy lives by eating Korean food.

Korean guys are getting more and more popular among girls all over the world!
Some people don't seem to accept the truth. Some of them go as far as to say Korean Wave
didn't make it to their place, I know why.

1)The change was made so sudden that it was tough for them to keep up.
2)It's only because Korean Wave hasn't reached their places.

Concerning 1), they are just jealous of Korean popularity.
About 2), it's only a matter of time Korean Wave becomes popular where they are (so they'll
understand why girls in other places are this enthusiastic about Korean guys).

Take Germany for example. According to wikipedia, Korean Wave doesn't seem to have spread there,
but it's already surrounded as Korean Wave reached East/North Europe. Korea should place more advertisements
and let German girls know Korean Wave is popular among girls except Germany. They'll be ashamed of themselves
for being left behind, for not knowing what's hot in the world now. :)

>Many in South Korea refer to the phenomenon as the "Korean Wave."
>The term became a media buzzword about five years ago, around the time that two TV serial dramas,

>when they were replayed in other parts of Asia. Both shows conveyed an emotional purity
>that appealed in different ways around the region. In places like Hong Kong, Taiwan and Bangkok,

>Soon, South Korean boy- and girl bands were on music TV all around the region.
>Singers BoA and Rain even started marketing themselves in the United States.

As long as this thread isn't customized for a specific theme,
you can chat about any topic you like. The only rule we should follow is
"use English". This is the idea we share with each other. If you don't understand this,
you don't use this thread. I'd say 42 is a rule breaker. What do you say?

46:名無しさん@英語勉強中
09/06/18 14:30:27
What is your favorite English textbook?

I'm using All Clear 2&3. They are good. They comes with audio CDs and
you can learn a lot of English idioms such as "get coldfeet, get caught dead with someone" and so on,
by the "dictation and listen&repeat" method. The books say you can develop fluency and accuracy through
learning with them. Not sure how much I will get after completing those books, though. lol
But in my opinion, it sometimes is good to use books (especially if they are written by English publishers),
since you can get at a certain level after you are finished with them.

I guess some of you here who are learning English already stopped using textbooks, but
is there any you can reccomend? The first book I used was DUO 3.0 to enrich my vocabulary, by the way.

On the topic of Koreans, one of my Korean professors was pretty annoying.

When a student asked a question and the professor didn't understand it,
she wouldn't ask to repeat the question; she would just ignore the question and
act like no one said anything. Many times another student would end up answering
the question. This was really annoying, and this happened with
another Korean professor I had, but this one was a male.

It might be closed-minded to think this way, but the fact that they
were in completely different colleges at the university
but acted the same way makes me think that Koreans are generally horrible listeners.

09/06/19 01:37:44
>>71
A world of shit is a new theory that include two ideas, one that is applied to
the real world and the other to the Internet world.

As for the first one, it's obvious we are currently experiencing a drastic environmental change - global warming.
People in general share the idea that human activities are a main reason of it. We consume a lot of things and put
a burden on the globe that way. We need to recycle what remains afterwards and to get it back to earth. Shit, aka poop,
should be something reusable. Consider if shit litters the ground then it has devastating effects on the earth. Its heat
would help warm the globe, but if we properly deal with shit by making it compost then poop would help grow trees and grass,
and such green things would help decrease CO2 and cool the globe down. To sum up, "We are in a world of shit" is a slogan against
globalwarming.

And now to explain the other, it's also a slogan that asks users of the Internet to calm down. When they come across something they don't like,
they are likely to respond like "shit! I don't like it" and ignore/consume such things without thinking deeply. That's just a waste of time. We should
think twice before consuming all that we think is shit. It's easy to say this is shit and that is shit, but consider if shit is reclycled, then we can
make your Internet life worth living. We are in a world of shit. That's why we should find something important in shit itselt. When you find the word shit
somewhere on the Internet, think yourself if that's not really reclycled. We need to cool ourselves down. That is all.

   "Scat of daybreak"

Lovers fall into gaga love, at that moment, all things of the world would freeze.
Lovers going to other world where time would be never flowing.
The night would never break, and the star would never disappear.
The chanson d'amour only echos.
The Cronos of lovers who fall into gaga love would stop the thump of his heart. The Cronos would still keep silent.

I can read poster's comments, though. Couldn't play the video.
Students who play baseball seriously to play in national high school
baseball tournaments held twice a year devote their high school life
entirely to baseball. Players of baseball powerhouse high school live
a very deciplined life.

Almost all players in such high schools start playing baseball when they
were in elementary school joining little leagues in thier regions.
I heard American high school athletes play various sports depending on
seasons but in Japan, onece you become a member of one club such as baseball club,
you play the sport for the entire high school years.

I like to see high school baseball players play in national high school baseball
tournaments and its preliminaries in each regions. National high school baseball
tournaments and its preliminaries are tournaments so if they lose only once,
everything is over so players are desperate to fruit their efforts.

So I often find pro baseball players look drowsy compared to them after
watching high school kids play baseball so desperately.

Japan is a country where Good is invariably routed by Evil;
a country irrevocably tainted by the squalid smears of blatant dishonesty;
a country where men can gang banged a woman with impunity,
as evidenced by the upshot of the incident perpetrated
by the repulsive rapists of Kyoto University of Education.

How has Japan come to be miserably reduced to the pitiful muck it is now?

Not a single glimmer of hope can be seen in Japan as it is,
the future of which is all painted black by sordid sexual perverts
who have successfully infiltrated, in disguise as teachers,
into its educational institutions to devour the lush flesh of their vulnerable preys.

In Japan, teachers commit sexual crimes 15 times as frequently as people in general do.
As students have a tendency not to report them to the police,
those exposed to the public represent only the tip of the enormous iceberg.

The champagne is now opened.

Is your sexual desire stronger than others? Is your penis normally erected?
Please be relieved if it is so. You must rape any woman!!

The man can transform to the Super-Saiya alien by terrific energy when his penis is erected.
There is no woman who matches a man when becoming it so.
You will be able to rape even though it is a champion of woman Karate, or a large woman who beyond 180 cm, or a woman boss of the crime syndicate.
If the opponent is the average woman, you can rape even ten women at a time!!
However you must not misunderstand it.
There is only woman in this world who cannot be rape even if you try to rape with your possession of brutal energy when you erect your penis.
The woman who cannot rape even if I do to this world with my possession of brutal energy when you erect the penis can hold one.

It is my lover Lady Hayashi, alias olive oil.
Though she has a slim and boyish figure, and hanny-face, suppose you touch her body You will be in hell soon. She is just strong like that!!
You must rape all women all over the world taking care only about her!

Ha, I'm sure the prom guidelines were fascinating. No one got thrown out or arrested
this year, so I guess they worked.

The documentary followed two teams trying to win the regional tournament for Osaka prefecture so
they could go on to the national Koshien tournament. I think it's really admirable that
these kids pour all their effort into their passion, but I also think that they'll be
screwed after high school since they hardly devote any effort towards classes.

They don't have to be intelligent academic-wise. Some university
impose them on special university exam which don't require good academic

I guess it's the same for high school sports here with scholarships and recruitment
by colleges. It's pretty common to see not so qualified students going to good schools
just because they were recruited for sports. My university is definitely guilty of that...

In high school baseball, Chiben Wakayama is very famouse and it's in
Wakayama prefecture, not Osaka. I googled and it seems there are Chiben
group high school in Nara, too. No chiben group high school in Osaka,
it seems. Isn't it Chiben Wakayama in the video?

Talking about Chiben Wakayama, this incident got many public attentions
in the spring tournament at Koshien Stadium. This happend when a runner on
the third, 2 down in the eighth inning. Chiben Wakayama is on deffence. The catcher
walked up to the pitcher and kissed him to relax him, (maybe as a kind of
a joke) Very "Uho"-ish but the scene makes me smile.
This kiss is dubbed "magic kiss" because it led to Chiben Wakayama
getting out of the trouble by striking out the next batter.

no no no livia x isnot a unique name at all

either it is my real name, or maybe i read historyor watch some bbc
drama on the roman empire.

the "x"comes from the factthat there are a finite numberof ways you
can add extensions without altering the feel of the name , if the
pseudonym livia is already taken. either yoyu can add numbers , or
characerters, if it is allowed. adding an "x" notonly keeps the
original feel but sexes it up a bit,,,,, well kind of.

You have created an image in your head and I played along to see,
with pure intentions , where it would lead. obviously my sense of
humour did not match, so i apologise for that. You should have thought, if that is the artistic livia, it is OK.
however, you are way too sarcastic. i have meant no harm. As i make my leave,
i dedicate this humble drawing, to all you 2Channesters.

"use English". This is the idea we share with each other. If you don't understand this,

My guess would be that it's because most men masturbate with the right hand,
and gripping the penis too heavily is bad for the tissue.
The force in the grip comes from the fingers which are usually on
the left side of the penis when you masturbate as a right-hander.
