It takes much less time to make a movie in Bollywood than in Hollywood.
In fact, filming may begin even before the script is finished.
The director and writers can continue making up the story while the film is being made.
Sometimes they will even write the script by hand instead of taking time to type it.

Bollywood actors are very popular and some are in such high demand that they often work on several movies at the same time.
They may even shoot scenes for several films on the same day, using the same costumes and scenery.
It's not a big problem for actors or directors since most Bollywood movies follow a similar story.
This also helps keep the cost of production lower than in Hollywood.
Two million U.S. dollars, the average budget of a Bollywood film, seems very cheap compared to sixty million U.S. dollars for a Hollywood film― just one thirtieth!
No wonder they can make so many movies.
