私は科学者のエピソードを読むのが好きである．それも『科学史の教科書で語られる
偉大な業績ではなく，思い込みや期待から犯してしまった間違いの数々を読むのが
楽しい．間違いの中に次の発見へのヒントが隠されていたことがあったり，間違い
を克服する努力が新しい分野を開くきっかけになったこともあったからだ．』
『I find pleasure not in knowing about great achievement seen in a
textbook of science history but in knowing about many mistakes they
made because of prejudices and expectations. I think the reason is
that I found trigger to next discovery in the mistakes and I could
find a new field thanks to effort to overcome mistakes.』
