ある海外通販を利用したんだけど
Backorderの商品があってどうするか聞かれたから、じゃあその商品をキャンセルして別の商品にしたいってメールしたら
こんな返事が返ってきたんだけど…
I was able to take 商品名（Backordeだったやつ） off the order.
But to put the other item in the order it will put another pending authorization on your credit card.
Which means it will hold the total amount again until your bank automatically drops it off.
This is usually within 48 hours. Just let me know if this is what you want me to do for you.
