So, let me get this straight.
Your saying that wai wai/japanprobe,etc are only reporting part of the truth.
I don't think that what your saying is completely accurate, but what I do agree with you is that some of the stories come from gossip magazines.
I think that it is embarrassing to have others know that there are problems of a sexual nature in Japan.
So much so that you want to censor everything you deem as embarrassing even if the rumor are found to be true.
For that I can't really blame you, but for what it is worth I think there are at least a few the rain true.
For example, Wai Wai's article on the decrease in Japanese youth population and the Japanese govt's so called solution to the problem.
In which the Japanese government is willing to hire foreign aid to replace the youth work population, because of the decrease in the Japanese Youth population.
Or the Wai Wai report of groppers on trains and even the molestation.
I think that these issues need to be talked about not censored.
I once lived in Japan as a foreigner and have seen and or heard of such things for myself.
So, what I think is happening here is purism at its best.
You want to save face for your country( which both good and bad) and to keep people from talking about it. Especially, foreigners that know and understand English writing.
So if your going to boycott against half-truths than do me a favor do it for all nations including the US, because I know of many locals that read on our sexual deeds mostly in regard to celebs.
