During the early 1950s,living inParis a man who had grown up in Tokyo
didn't feel great diffences between at least daily life of the two countries.
In my case,Ihad seen subway before Icame to Paris.
In Paris Ionly thought it a little more convenient to use the same
facilities Iwould go aboard for travel.
Iwasn't surprised at the foundamental differences of the both institutions.
ButIonly recognized that the way to manage similar institutions have some
differences.
Coffee wasn't rare drink.
Sleeping in bed was my habit after my entering the hospital in Hongo.
My first impression wasn't the differences but the similarities between those two countries.
