C. I never expected the journey to become so long like this.

wonderful experiences (と来たら＋in return等), energies and made me grow up.

(C) I couldn't have imagined my journey of soccer would continue to be

(D) That was why through soccer I got a precious experience
(一つの経験だけかや？), which will stand by me throughout my life,
I can（→which did, does and will do） improve myself and grow up
(by the sport).
