It could happen if the speakers of the languages themselves decide that
there is no value in maintaing them,
in other words the bring up their children as monolingual speakers of English.
There are signs that this is happening already.
But there is a big difference between Cornish and Panjabi of course.
When Cornish died out in England there were no other communities
of Cornish speakers anywhere in the world.
言語話者が決めるかどうか、それらを維持するものはない。
他では１言語使用の子供たちを育てる。既に起こっている。
しかし大きな違いがある。コーリッシュとパンジャビで。
コーリッシュがイングランドで絶滅したとき、世界のどこでもコーリッシュを話す人はいない。
