In the aftermath of World War II Germany and Japan, the two major Axis
Powers, responded to their role in the war in different ways. Germany aimed
at compensating Holocaust victims and ensuring justice with respect to war
criminals and the historical record. Japan aimed at rebuilding the nations it had
attacked through monetary and developmental aid. Japan faced severe criticism
from the China and Korea regarding its postwar policies, which some felt were
not aimed at apologying its war crimes. Such criticism often contrast the South
East Countries and Taiwanese evaluation to those of japan. This article was on
the basis of criticism in some coumtries , Japan was often faced unrational
criticism compared with Germany.
