I still am deeply sorry for the loss of Haruma Miura and am determined to create the version of The Illusionist that excited him so much. I remember fondly our creative conversations about the show, where his excitement for the project was enlivening and infectious. I will keep this collaboration and memory close to my heart as we create this important new musical for Japan.
三浦春馬さんの訃報を受け、今も悲しみが消えません。彼をあれほどワクワクさせていた『イリュージョニスト』を必ず作り上げよう、と決心しております。作品について彼と交わしたクリエイティブな会話が、とても輝かしく思い出されます。このプロジェクトに対する彼の興奮は、人に元気を与え、周りにも伝染するものでした。彼とのコラボレーションと思い出を胸に、日本にとって大事な一作となる新作ミュージカルを作っていきます。
